Ryan and Robert DeLena were guests of the Garfield School in Revere, MA.
Ryan spoke to several middle school classes about acceptance and inclusion while demonstrating a variety of safety techniques for rock climbing and backcountry skiing.
Robert, raised in Revere, addressed parental expectations and how he learned to allow Ryan the freedom necessary to defy the expectations of doctors and educators who underestimated him.
